An Old "Chaje Shukarije" Adaptation
Esma Redzepova’s Chaje Shukarije (World Connection) was adapted to Turkish as "Olanlar Oldu Bana" in 1976 without authorisation and performed by Turkish "Super Star" Ajda Pekkan. The long term conflict was solved with negotiations and this famous song is covered by Demet Akbag in Suzan Kardes' Makyaj Odası Şarkıları album.
